The Difference Between Genius & Insanity

diff

I’ve just finished my most recent film “The Difference Between Genius & Insanity”. It is a beautiful prologue to the film “Let the Die Be Cast” a feature film from DeCantillion Films.

It follows the journey of two brothers and an ethereal girl, who questions one of the boys sense of reality. Is the girl real, or is there someone else behind the scenes?

It was an interesting film to score because I had to portray musically he was losing his grip on reality, and even make the audience question what was real.

The instrumentation varied from intense to intimate, and from consonant to dissonant.

I’ve posted some examples below:

Nobody’s Fault

A song I wrote for the credits for a film by Shadi Khalil. A beautiful arrangement set to mainly voice, strings and piano.

The song hasn’t been set to a music video – But plans to be in the future.

Still Uploading Content

content

I’ve recently done a massive overhaul on my website. The previous site wasn’t functioning how I’d like it, and wasn’t very pretty!

Now I’ve gotten the site to where I want it (after a lot of hard work!) I’ll be uploading lots of new content.

I plan to add much more (and copy over articles from my old site). I want to add: past work, examples of soundtracks, articles on how I work, and much more!

Stay tuned – And “like” me on Facebook if you want to get updates. You’ll hear it there first!
